Blaze featuring Barbara Tucker - Most Precious Love

Barbara Tucker

Released February 2005

Blaze are back with what is set to be one of this year's definitive club anthems "Most Precious Love", remixed by Dennis Ferrer, still riding high after his recent sucess "Hit It Off" also on Defected.

Hailing from New Jersey, school friends Josh Milan and Kevin Hedge - aka Blaze, began producing in 1984 and made a name for themselves two years later with a pair of garage classics, "If You Should Need A Friend" and "Whatcha Gonna Do" (with vocals by Colonel Abrams).  The 1990's saw the boys further their career with the release of "Hide Away" by De'lacy and "My Desire" by Amira, both of which are now widely regarded as anthems.  More recent releases on Slip and Slide, Easy Street plus collaborations with Louie Vega (MAW) for his album "Elements Of Life", have helped to maintain the duo to become one of the most sought after writing, remixing and production teams in the business.

Singer, dancer and actress Barbara Tucker, a legend in her own right has been responsible for a multitude of big room tunes over the last decade and a half.  Classics such as "I Get Lifted", "Beautiful People" and "Deep Inside", sit comfortably alongside more recent collabs with Masters At Work and Full Intention.

Pumping piano keys and uplifting gospel chants of "Most Precious Love" kick things off before the fantastic and endlessly talented Tucker makes her mark by adding that unique original soul-diva sound.

The release also comes with instrumental and drums only versions for those of you who like to tamper with perfection.  This truly is a dance-floor masterpiece, and I can't fooking wait to hear it on the dance-floor though the largest set of speakers!  Hoorah!

With this already getting maximum rinsage from the likes of Martin Solveig, Sandy Rivera, Lottie, Hardsoul and some gurning raver I found on my sofa called Dan - it's highly probable, that this, along with a dozen more will be a Defected Miami anthem.
