After arriving at Winchester’s Matterly Bowl for the first Hi Fi South Festival, we set up camp in the VIP camping area before having a quick scout around the venue. Anyone considering the benefits of the VIP packages, should definitely opt for it as it was only a mere 250-300 yards from the carpark to our tent! It all seemed so easy with literally no queues in sight!
It’s a rare occasion that Danny Howells plays a mid-weeker in London, so no surprise then that before long West Central Street resembled a road block as people gathered out side AKA, waiting to begin a much needed Wednesday tonic.
