David Guetta - Just A Little More Love

Released 13th October 2003
David Guetta's "Just A Little More Love" has been the talk of the isle of Ibiza over the past month. If also due, in part, to the phenomenal success of the two Fuck Me I'm Famous parties this summer hosted by David Guetta at Pacha Ibiza, where Pacha had to close their doors mid-party for the first time ever in history, Guetta is currently very hot property. "Just A Little More Love" is Guetta's third single to be released on Virgin following the critically acclaimed "Distortion" and Guetta's bootleg of Bowie's "Heroes" earlier this summer.
"Just A Little More Love" is currently #1 in the Buzz Chart, it was #1 for two weeks on the Cool Cuts Chart, Pete Tong made it his Essential New Tune earlier this summer, Seb Fontaine made it a VIP cut, Steve Lawler tipped it as the track of the summer after seeing it destroy Space Terrace, Erick Morillo loved it so much he made his own edit and P Diddy was spotted at Fuck Me I'm Famous on a podium singing along to all the words!
Hailing from Paris, David's style was born out of the 80s acid house era, he was responsible for building the Parisian club scene and introducing to France what is now considered the norm in clubland - the guest DJ. Guetta ran the first nights at Les Bains-Douche and Rex, then went on to open the infamous Le Queen creating a brand new movement in Paris inviting DJ legends such as Little Louie Vega, David Morales, DJ Pierre and Roger Sanchez to join him on the turntables. It was during this time that the infamous F*ck Me I'm Famous parties were born.
David Guetta’s eagerly anticipated follow up to "Heroes" finally lands…. and what a follow up it is! "Just A Little More Love" has been causing absolute dancefloor mayhem for a few months now. The original mix encompasses that ever popular 80’s electro beat n bass, with Chris Willis’ infectious Gospel vocals rolling over the top… even the coolest of cool catz just haven’t been able to stop themselves from singing along!
The Wally Lopez mix has been doing most of the damage though - with his trade mark tough but funky as fcuk beats, a bassline guaranteed to make any speaker quiver, and breakdowns perfect for the terraces of the white isle - Spain’s man of the moment certainly knows how to work his remixes!
The Problem Kid mix takes it a little deeper but is no less funky! The ‘live’ sounding backing fused with the economic use of the vocal makes it perfect for many a funkier floor!
A great release destined for some well-earned success!
