DJ Jose - Stepping To The Beat

The inimitable Data Records are back this December to conquer the charts with another classic helping of bubbly crossover house, as they release DJ Jose’s "Stepping To The Beat".
As with all Data releases, "Stepping To The Beat" is thoroughly addictive and perfectly crafted to take both clubland and the charts by storm. DJ Jose takes an infectious female vocal, wraps it around an irresistibly bouncy synth riff and underlays it with a funky bassline and driving beat. A combination that adds up to the perfect crossover dance record.
With the likes of Judge Jules and Dave Pearce already supporting the track, it has already got the dancefloor’s nod of approval and with new mixes from the likes of house legends Soul Avengerz, who add Balearic keys and even more energy to the track, alongside Micky Modelle, Dave McDonald and Enzo Mori, clubland’s love affair with DJ Jose is set to continue for the foreseeable future.
"Stepping To The Beat" also has a fantastic video (featured below), which shows what would happen if women could see what the men they meet on a night out, would actually turn out to be like! Come on ladies - you’ve all been there. You’re chatting away merrily to a silver-tongued lothario at the bar but then it turns out he’s a sleazy porn monger with a penchant for webcams! Smooth operators become scheming conmen, who deserve nothing but a vodka and cranberry in the face in this brilliant new video.
DJ Jose has been a pioneer in the Dutch dance music scene for years, whether presenting his drive time radio shows or playing some of the country’s most infamous clubs. This latest release was produced alongside Richard van Schooneveld aka G-Spott, who has worked with DJ superstars including Tiesto and DJ Jean. Check the video for more!
