DJ Mag Top 100 DJ Awards - Vote Now - The votes have been counted and the results released for the DJ Mag Top 100 2005

- With over 123,933 votes cast and a new # 1 the world’s biggest and best DJ poll has seen a few changes this year…

Firstly thanks one and all for casting your votes for your favourite DJs of 2005 - without you there would be no poll! Secondly thanks to everyone who made it down to the poll winner’s party at Ministry of Sound last night - cracking sets from one and all and a wicked atmosphere to boot!

This year the world’s biggest and best DJ poll has grown even more with votes from 147 countries. The 2005 poll has seen 20 New Entries, 28 Climbers and 5 re entries this year with Tiesto finally dropping off the top spot after three years reigning champion. New winner Paul van Dyk has been climbing steadily up the Top 10 since 1998 and this is the first time he has worn the DJ Mag crown and he celebrated in the way he knows best - with a top quality main room set at the party last night.

This month’s issue of DJ Mag has just been released today (28/10) with interviews with all 100 of the DJs. And on the front cover Paul van Dyk celebrates his win with an exclusive ‘Champions Mix’ CD… Now for the news you've been waiting for…
