Here you can find our UK Club and Festival reviews from past and present. As you may have already gathered we tend to focus on the more major dance music parties and extreme clubbing alternatives. The bigger the better is our motto. For international clubbing reviews check out our Global Dance Music section, or the specialised Miami Clubbing / Ibiza Club Guide specials.

If there's a super-club in your area that's larger than life, please let us know - likewise those interested in jumping the queues and blagging the VIP guest-list can do just that if you're willing to review any nights/take photos should also send that mail.

HED KANDI BEACH BAR - LAUNCH PARTY REVIEW

When the doors opened at 10pm, there already stood an enthusiastic crowd eager to witness the grand launch party of the World’s First Hed Kandi Beach Bar.

Situated on Egypt’s beautiful Red Sea coast in Hurghada city (10 minutes away from Ministry of Sound’s Beach Club), a pink Hed Kandi illumination quickly grabs the eye of anyone in the vicinity.

MINISTRY OF SOUND RED SEA REVIEW

To kick things off in a Euro-friendly style, we started out in Hurghada’s Papas Bar – an Anglo-Dutch owned bar stylised in a Café brown-esque flavour. Catering for a predominantly English and European mix of clientele they also have Papas II in the downtown area and the soon-to-be Papas Tavern in the more renowned Sharm El Sheik. After a few cool bevies with the highly personable Papas manager Mr Marcus, we head down to the Ministry of Sound Bar.

GLASSHOUSE LEEDS - CLUB REVIEW

David Morales, one DJ/Producer that requires no introduction, paid a visit to Glasshouse at the weekend for what was his best UK gig of the decade - so much so that he cancelled his flight so he could carry on playing until 6am!

With behaviour like that it’s easy to see why every Saturday the 2000 capacity venue has to turn hundreds away
