Sander Kleinenberg has hooked up with Pioneer to road test the revolutionary DVJ-X1. The first DJ deck that plays CD's AND DVD's. There are literally only a handful of the units in the world so far, and Sander will be exclusively showcasing the deck at his Everybody party at WMC Miami. It's the world's first DJ deck that allows you to manipulate video as well as audio in the mix.
'Everybody Loves The Great Outdoors' takes place on Sunday March 7th, on the Terrace at Club Space with an exclusive live DVD set from Sander Kleinenberg, featuring the world premiere of the DVJ-X1.
The Pioneer DVJ-X1 is based on the award winning CDJ-1000, and its follow up the CDJ-1000 MK2. The CDJ's have already become a staple part of any DJ set. The difference is that the DVJ-X1 allows the DJ to manipulate DVD visuals in exactly the same way as they would music. So real-time digital video scratches, loops and instant cues are all possible, while the video and audio streams always stay in perfect sync, even when they're being reversed and pitched. This new Pioneer unit works with all established CD formats as well as DVDs, crossing the boundaries between the once-separate audio and video domains. This is going to be one of the Miami conference's major talking points.
