Get ready, get steady and get voting. You've guessed it; the starting gates are open for the 2005 Hard Dance Awards, celebrating the very best of hard dance over the past 12 months.

Launched in 2003, the Hard Dance Awards gives you the chance to vote for the DJs, producers, events, tracks, labels, shops and websites that have put a smile on your face. So whether it's the DJ you stalked around club land, the track you would've micro-chipped into your brain, if medically possible, or the club that brightened your week, this is your chance to say thank you - and it only takes a few seconds.

In 2004 over 8,000 people from over 75 countries cast their choices culminating in a roadblock shindig held at the stunning Air in Birmingham. The place was a heaving maelstrom of the scene's biggest fans partying alongside the world and his wife of the hard dance industry.

This year they're back in London; so etch Saturday 11th February 2006 in your diary, as you're all invited to find out who the winners are as it happens. If you're a true hard dance fanatic then this is the event you can't afford to miss, because as well as being the first to know, they're also laying on a star-studded line-up of the world's finest hard dance DJ/producers.

Online voting opens on 14th November 2005 and closes on 30th January 2006 and will once again feature an open system allowing you to vote for anyone you like. The HDA website has also had a shiny new face-lift making it easy to vote and impossible to cheat.

One lucky voter, will receive a Denon DN-S1000 CD/MP3 deck courtesy of the lovely people at Denon DJ. The new CD deck is smaller than its contemporaries, yet still offers the same high-specs; including advanced MP3 playback, built in effects and the world's first Next Track Reserve with Cross Fader feature.
