The Housexy team kick off the New Year in typically glam style as they release their sixth , and sultriest, album – Housexy-International. Bringing together tracks that have graced the dancefloors of Housexy residencies from South Africa to Sao Paulo, Bogota to Bahrain, this is a collection that celebrates the continuing global love of sexy, vocal house.

Mixed by Richard Murray, CD 1 kicks off with the piano-laden strains of Tyken feat Awa's "Every Word" and journeys through Mark Wilkinson's noughties makeover of Inner City's classic "Pennies From Heaven", towards the bongo-buoyed vocals of "Some Day" by Jean Claude Ades. The Ruff Mix of "Deeper Love" adds a tougher edge to things, backed up by Shena's appropriately monikered "Electrosexual", before Swedish house don Eric Prydz' shows them how it's done with the massive "Proper Education" - and if it's good enough Pink Floyd, who are we to argue.

On CD2 Murray continues the flirtatious fun, dropping Tom Middelton’s makeover of the Mighty Dub Katz’ "Guaguanco", which blends perfectly into Gerideau’s soulful strains on "Love Me More" by The Holy Rollers. Things are kept fresh with Ben Macklin’s "Tiger Lilly", before another anthem is brought bang up to date for today’s dancefloor as Skye’n’Sugarstarr take on the Degrees Of Motion’s "Shine On". Basoski & Romano, Jerry Ropero & Michael Simon, with a little help from Kathy Brown, and Freaks all throw some of their funkiest tracks into the mix, ensuring the Housexy reputation, for danceable music with an edge, is kept well and truly intact.

To celebrate the release of Housexy "International", the team have planned a series of exclusive parties across the globe. The first quarter of 2007 will see them take in Bahrain, Krakow, Dubai and Amsterdam, as well as continuing their monthly residency at Ministry Of Sound and their new weekly sessions at No 1 Leicester Square.

Whether it be barefoot on a beach, or stilletoed in central London, this is music to dance to . Housexy International.
