Marco V - False Light

Released 20th February 2006
It's been heard on Radio One , and now the waiting is over as Marco V's "False Light" is finally available to buy this February on Maelstrom Records / New State.
The well respected Dutch producer's incredible track has shattered convention by making its way onto the Radio One daytime playlist, and has recently been championed by everyone from Pete Tong and Judge Jules to Jo Whiley and Scott Mills; the first credible trance or techno dance track to do so in nearly a year.
MTV viewers have recently been enjoying the video, while Galaxy FM listeners have also been treated to the catchy tech-trancer in its daytime schedules. In the clubs "False Light" has been hammered by everyone from Paul Van Dyk, Armin Van Buurin to Jules and Mr Eddie Halliwell, and it's already topped many of the club dance charts becoming a firm favourite on the globe's best dance floors.
The Original Extended Mix is a driving techno bass-line, overlaid with an almost 'New Romantic' sounding male vocal of co-producer and studio buddy Benjamin Bates. Eerie breakdowns combined with a metallic, electro-tinged edge showcase Marco V's superb production skills and versatility to perfection.
The Radio Edit and Single Extended Mix are both new takes on it for 2006 keeping the distinctive sound of the original but adding a grooving bassline. Marco turns in a tough electro-rock tinged house mix for the Thunderdub.
Finally Dutch scene stalwart and the talent behind such incredible anthems as "Greece 2000" and "Sunset On Ibiza", Ton TB serves up an uplifting, driving, tech-trancer complete with an orchestral break-beat driven breakdown.
The single release comes just a week before the much awaited availability of his second artist album 200V, due for release on 27th February.
