Global Gathering, one of Europe’s premiere music festivals, will have fans heading west this year as it lands on US soil for the first time in Miami, FL. On Saturday March 18th rock and electronic music enthusiasts will have a chance to stand shoulder to shoulder and see performances by artists such as Nine Inch Nails, Rob Zombie, Avenged Sevenfold, Coheed & Cambria, Sasha and Digweed, Deep Dish, Ferry Corsten, Armin Van Buuren, Roger Sanchez and Steve Lawler among many others. Celebrating true music without borders, Global Gathering will finally gather music’s closest cousins - rock and electronica - to weave together a fun, music-filled day of the best of both genres.
Brought to the U.S. by Track Entertainment, the company that stages more than 8,500 corporate and consumer events annually including Rolling Rock Town Fair and Pepsi Smash Live, and partners Angel Music Group, originators of the European Global Gathering festivals, along with Club Space, Miami’s flagship nightclub and a globally recognized nightlife brand, Global Gathering will take place at Bicentennial Park from noon to midnight. In total, more than 80 acts will be performing, with additional artists to be announced shortly.
Global Gathering marks the start of 10 days of parties in the magic city, with clubs, bars, lounges and hotels planning endless events and most of the world’s leading DJ’s and producers heading to town. From March 18th - 28th Miami and its beaches will be packed with club goers and music industry moguls alike, all seeking the hottest party and the next big tunes.
"We are delighted that Miami was selected for the first U.S. site of the Global Gathering," said William D. Talbert, president and CEO of the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau. "The event will provide priceless exposure of our diverse destination to a global audience and have a positive economic impact on our community."
