Nathan Fake was born and raised in Norfolk, England. He has been dabbling with, and creating music since he was a young teenager. Nathan's first record "Outhouse" was released in late 2003 on Border Community Records. Since then he has also released on Satoshi Tomiie's SAW Records and Traum Schallplatten. Fake also plays live sets on his laptop, and has played in places including Berlin, Barcelona, Paris and Amsterdam.

First up is the deep and trippy "Umek's Astrodisco Mix", an almost Prodigy style echo about it. Powerful keys bounce and surge through chopped up synths...

The Original is an 11 minute timeless wonder, a melodic dancefloor filler, building to a futuristic void - to be met by rampant techy undertones and Tenaglia-esque beats.

Recently appointed "Album Of The Month" in Mixmag Magazine, the young Brit has been dashing around the country playing gigs large and small.. I'm even hoping to catch him on my birthday weekend in a small bar in one of my locals, an intimate 100 odd capacity crowd! Nathan Fake is certainly keeping it real.

He's not a DJ and indicates he may never be, but with this much studio talent, a healthy and lengthy career in music is inevitable. Someone who's clearly made it direct from his bedroom, proving determination and a lot of talent goes a very long way.
