Rasmus Faber - Get Over Here

Released 30th January 2006
This time on Azuli Silver, Rasmus Faber’s "Get Over Here" takes a more uplifting trip through the clubs and to your ears thanks to remixes by Axwell and Sunlovers.
Kicking things off is "Axwell’s Club Remix". Definitely some solid uplifting funky house at it’s best with a solid kick, catchy riffs, and light synths forming the foundation of the track. The vocal in here is clean and clear as opposed to the Andy Cato remixes on Azuli Black. There’s an excellent use of filtering in this track and together with the samples, it has a somewhat retro but summer atmosphere to it. A simple but catchy track with a winning formula. The radio edit is much like the Club Remix but just a shortened version.
Next up is the "Sunloverz Remix". A heavy bass line and extended vocal loops mark the introduction of the mix. This long intro soon builds and morphs into a driving dirty tech-type groove while the hi-hats tap away. This rehash is somewhat comparable with what Angello & Ingrosso are doing at the moment. The breakdown is long and powerful with the 'chorus' vocal element brought in, while the track slowly builds up. A filtered atmospheric type sweep brings the meat of the track back in, which just pounds away taking you in. While some might not enjoy this sound, this dirty remix is
sure to grow on you.
All in all, having looked at both the Andy Cato Remixes as well as what Axwell and Sunloverz did, there will be something in here for you. Once again this track and its remixes has been tearing up the clubs for a while and it’s not going away, so grab it now.
