Slinky Bristol Closes!
   
As of January 2004 Slinky has left its Bristol home of almost 3 years - Creation. Presumably this came as something as a surprise, as Slinky had recently issued new DJ line-ups for February in the Bristol venue?
"Creation has been taken from receivership and now has new owners, these owners are looking to implement new policies within the venue and as a result the current management and ourselves have left the premises with immediate effect."
Slinky is now looking at various other options and plans to continue to run a weekly club night in 2004 in the West Country.
Slinky Bournemouth is unaffected by this and continues to open every Friday, with a hit counter of nearly half a million through its doors to date.
