Studio B - C’mon Get It On

Studio B - C’mon Get It On image

Released 10th April 2006

On April 10th Studio B follow up their huge UK hit ‘I See Girls’ with a guitar-laced anthem that’s more infectious than a budgie with bird flu. Once more utilising the vocals of up and coming talent Harry Brooks, ‘C’mon…’ is a funk flavoured homage to the ritual of courting a young lady.

On the Radio Edit rock guitars, eighties flavours and a wall of power synths combine with Harry’s vocals, to form the perfect peaktime track. Handling remix duties are chart-topping duo Freemasons (‘Love On My Mind’), who add a dose of glitter ball glamour and transform the original into a disco stormer. Other mixes come from Damien Carter and the Radio 1 favourites Young Punx.

Studio B are a multi-talented collective currently comprising of producer and writer Si Hulbert, DJ Lewis Coleman and vocalist and writer Harry Brooks. Their first collaboration ‘I See Girls’ entered the UK Charts at number 12 and remained in the Top 40 for fifteen weeks, winning an award for over ten thousand plays on national and regional radio.

Si has worked with everyone from Friday Hill, Rosie Gaines, Blazin Squad, The Jungle Brothers and Professor Green to Lisa Maffia and The Honeyz. He is also writing and co- producing with Fran Cosgrave & Robert De Fresnes of Narcotic Thrust, for a future project under Fran's collective Inner City Playboys. The singles so far have been well received, with guest vocals from the likes of Natasha Hamilton (Atomic Kitten) & Amanda Wilson (Freemasons.)

At just 21, Harry Brooks is already making a name for himself. He’s written massive chart hits for the likes of Blue ('You Make Me Wanna'), Friday Hill (‘Baby Goodbye’) and Peter Andre (‘All Time Girl’). As well as being an accomplished singer and songwriter, the multi-talented Harry has also joined the Courtyard Theatre Company in order to establish himself as an actor. In November 2005 Harry played the lead role in a play called ‘The Suicided Man’ at The Courtyard Theatre, Covent Garden, London. And it’s not just clubbers and thesps who are fans. In March 2005 Harry was invited by Her Majesty The Queen to attend a dinner party at Buckingham Palace in honour of songwriters who have made a major contribution to the British Music Industry.

Lewis Coleman began DJing in 1999 and has since gone on to have massive international success behind the decks as Studio B. He has played at major clubs all over the UK and also for the past three summers in Greece and Cyprus. The success of ‘I See Girls’ allowed Lewis to reach an even wider audience and he completed a very successful seven-date tour of Australia in June 2005, alongside tours in Dubai and Russia. In August 2005 Lewis was invited as the special guest at Ireland’s biggest dance festival Planet Love, playing alongside DJ Sneak, Steve Lawler, Armin Van Burren and many more.

So on April 10th join Si, Harry and Lewis, aka Studio B, as they swagger onto the dancefloor with the jackin guitar-laced funk of "C’mon Get It On" released on Loaded.  Free movie download coming soon!
