Subliminal Sessions Ten - mixed by Erick Morillo

Subliminal Sessions Ten - mixed by Erick Morillo image

Released July 06

Right on time for the summer season, the world’s favourite International party DJ & Subliminal supremo, Erick Morillo returns to rock the set on the hotly-anticipated Subliminal Sessions Ten double mix CD. The only mix CD Erick will do this year, Sessions 10 combines the sexiest new tribal house jams around with some major unreleased vocal anthems and blowing-up dance hits . Blazing a stunning party trail, Erick Morillo is on fire right now from his golden touch with major hit "I Just Can’t Get Enough" and new NYC club, Pacha, to his intense and house-felt epic DJ sets coming to you at a festival this summer. SUBLIMINAL SESSIONS 10 is like being there...

Kicking off with a couple of classy rehashes "Stay Around" by Angel Moraes (A Moraes own mix) and "Brighter Days" by Dajae (Haji & Emmanuel Remix)… Deep Dish ring their hi-hats on "Dream" followed by Morillo’s own spunky "Jazz In Your Face" - you know it’s great for the skin girls…

These are followed by taste pickers Richard F and Mischa Daniels step things up for a tougher onslaught Original Mix of "Love Sensation" by Eddie Thoneick & Kurd Maverick, the duo bang shit out like a successful port-a-loo company. The track’s main vocal taken from Blackbox’s "Ride On Time".

CD2 starts off darker for that later-on vibe with Joe T Vanelli featuring Rochelle Fleming, Vanelli’s Dubby mix flows all electro into Pete Heller’s classic "Big Love". Back to the boompty style house beats with the incredible Trentmoller rework of Royksopp "What Else Is There?", unrelenting bass leads on to Morillo and hip-hop legend P Diddy in the almost holy "Dance I Said" (MNM Mix) and continues with this hot new Chicago style mix.

A whole new level of melodic intensity awakes as Nathan Fake’s "The Sky Was Pink" (Original Live Take), well takes over, before the lighter kicks of Exacta’s oldskool anthem "Pride" and the siren-like tones of Dark Mountain Group’s "Lose Control".

After a wild Miami round of parties including the Subliminal show stopper with Erick spinning 2 sets !@ Space and Ibiza’s Subliminal Session about to explode @ Pacha, Erick is "Around the world" every 30 days DJing at the Cannes Film Festival or being bitten by 200 mosquitoes whilst DJing at a beach festival in the Dominican Republic, it’s all in a days work for work hard/play hard Erick. And he’s just headlined Sessions Arenas at top UK summer festivals including Hi -Fi North / Hi-Fi South 2006, Global Gathering 2006 @ Stratford and finally August 26th Creamfields in Liverpool.  Also from Wednesday June 7th you can check him at Subliminal Sessions @ Pacha, Ibiza.
