The Loose Cannons - Muy Fuerte

The anticipated second album from everyone’s favourite band The Loose Cannons has finally arrived! "Muy Fuerte" (Spanish for very hard - pronounced Moo-ee !Foo-err-teh) is released on Fax Fox Records.
Lord Fader and Kaiser Saucy take their sound to the next level with this summer release that is peppered with dancefloor fillers and laced with funk drenched beats with the odd mellow groove chucked in for good measure. The style could be confused with a subtle nod to Outkast meets Tiga, causing a raucous wherever they go.
Fans of the Cannons include: Radio 1’s Zane Lowe, Rob Da Bank, Annie Mac, Mary Ann Hobbs, and XFM's Eddy Temple-Morris and James Hyman to name a few. The press love them too with DMC Update proclaiming them "a masterstroke…", whilst IDJ shouted: "a deliciously heavy slice of pounding house with a big-ass bottom end.” and One Week To Live observing: "the Loose Cannons are seriously talented and tend to rock tings proper.."
In addition to fronting their live eight-piece band, the guys DJ, remix, produce and host their own club nights. They also present their weekly show on Kiss100 every Friday night at mid-night. The show won a Bronze Sony Award at the recent annual radio industry bash in the ‘Specialist Music Programme’ category. Radio 1’s Zane Lowe and R2’s Charles Hazelwood scoped Gold and Silver respectively. Of all 29 categories The Loose Cannon’s was the only Kiss show to be put forward for a prestigious gong. They beat fellow nominees Andy Kershaw (Radio 3) and 6 Music’s ‘The 6 Mix’.
The Loose Cannons – in collaboration with Champion Sound – also host the monthly club night Schluck It Baby at London’s Cargo. Taking place the first Friday of every month the night features month watering guest DJs and live artists. So far the likes of Spektrum, Caged Baby, Suicide Sports Club and Max Sedgley have been booked to play live.
