Tokyo Sessions - "Electronic Luv 3" mixed by Hatiras

Released 5th December 2005
One of Canada’s premier musical exports, Hatiras - best known for his chart topping global smash "Spaced Invader" and his "Arrival" album, is back on the scene with another sublime collection of phat dancefloor beats for his forthcoming album, "Tokyo Sessions - Electronic Luv 3". Released through his own Blow Media record label, the album is inspired from Hatiras’ tour of Tokyo, as the name suggests.
It was there that he played at the infamous Ageha club and although this album isn’t a live recording of the night, "Electronic Luv 3" might as well be, as it reflects the energy and tune selection of the set he played which blew the roof off the club!!
The album features 16 tracks from various Blow Media artists, including Macca, Hatjak, and Da Skunk, as well as exclusive cuts from some of the world’s leading dance luminaries - Eric Prydz, Sebastian Ingrosso, John Dahlback, Dave Armstrong, DJ DLG, Red Roche and DJ Rooster. As you would expect with an album of this quality, this mix is laced with uplifting, dirty, feet stomping beats.
Starting off with "Baked From Scratch" by Hatiras himself alongside DJ Dan is followed by the provocative Kid Massive filtered track "Bring It On". The all round tougher "Ride Me Baby" by Macca drops and gets things "hot in here", before H’s second collaboration with DJ Dan, this time featuring Mandy J on the incredible sing-along hit "Love For The Weekend"; an instant sure-fire winner with the Radio 1 jocks.
Josef Armani meets Jan Francisco’s "Infatuation" is a delightful bass-lead hard thumpa that leads perfectly into the more electronic "Freaks On The Floor" by Bryan Cox (no relation to Carl). A choice accapella in the form of Kid Massive’s "7th Day" superbly thrown in for good cause before the drop of the fantastic "Do You Believe In Love" by Hatjak (yes, Hatiras again this time with Jaxon).
Dave Armstrong, the man who brought us "Make Your Move" in 2004 teams up with Redroche for the uplifting hands-in-the-air grooves on "Love Has Gone" rocker, finishing the Sessions album with the "In & Out" classic by Eric Prydz featuring Adeva.
A wicked selection of fresh, funky, driving tunes and toughened house beats, a compilation highlighting not only the exquisite tastes of the Canadian based Blow Media Label, but also the immense production talents and DJ skills of the funky futurist Hatiras. His own brand of Electronic Luv is perhaps the new way to go. Definitely in our Top Ten Compilations of 2005!
