Trans Europe Express 2003

Trans Europe Express 2003 image

The Glimmer Twinsdeepbluemusic and Perverted Science, two of London's biggest small club promoters, have joined forces to stage a two-day mini-festival of European music at London's flagship arts and music venue, The ICA, on Friday 10 & Saturday 11 October 2003.

A veritable smorgasbord of cross-channel club sounds, Trans Europe Express will bring together some of the leading leftfield DJs, live acts and labels from all across the EU and beyond. The event aims to give an insight into the wealth of quality music, clubs, audiovisual arts and DJs from every corner of the continent.

Calling in at musical stations in Germany, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Italy, Denmark, Belgium and of course, good old Blighty, the TEE party train will calling at many cutting-edge musical destinations, from jazzy deep house to techno-disco and computer pop, stopping off at punk-funk, UK Bass and electro along the way.

Joining us for the ride will be the likes of Bjørn Torske (Tellé), The Glimmer Twins (Culture Club), Headman (Gomma / Relish), T. Raumschmiere (Mute), Freddie Cruger (Raw Fusion), Debasser (Wide), Transparent Sound (Orson) and The Executives (Nine2Five Recordings).

Casio, the brand behind the G-Shock and Exilim ranges and pioneers of the original VL Tone keyboards (as used by every electro producer during the scene's early '80s inception), are proud to sponsor this undoubtedly spectacular event.  The whole show will be fully documented using Casio's latest Exilim digital cameras.
