Underwater Episode 2 - mixed by Darren Emerson & Mutiny

After the success of "Underwater Episode 1" last year, the second Underwater compilation series; (the imaginatively titled) 'Underwater Episode 2', is about to hit the speakers and is mixed once again by label boss Emerson (CD 1), assisted by those dirty funk house duo "Mutiny" (CD 2). It's nothing but a true representation of what is in these boys boxes - Emerson takes charge of CD 1 which showcases current and forthcoming Underwater releases to perfection (including Tim Deluxe's new single "Less Talk, More Action"). Brixton boys Mutiny then pump up the pace with summer fuelled jumping grooves.
Darren's mix starts off with "Push" by Paul Jackson, closely followed by an enthralling Sam La More remix of Gus Gus' haunting "Call Of The Wild". Man of the moment Swede Tony Senghore's debut track "Whaddup" is a dirty, sexy number (the next release on Underwater & also reviewed on site)!
Picked like only Mr Emerson can, Sam La More's amazing "Takin Hold" is featured alongside Sharam Jey, he's got a double helping of Underwater love with 2 tracks on the CD both worth a mention; 'Shake Your' & 'Day After' all doing the business. The tunes featured on CD 1 are all on Underwater.
CD 2 seems to start on the same high note. "Can't Stop' by Sandy Rivera sounds as fresh as the original ever did. Mutiny's second hip-helping of 'Drums' leads on to the light and jazzy 'Sex' by Robbie Rivera (with Robbie's Sexy Mix). Kid Crème's timeless club mix of 'Down & Under' keeps the groove as Ibizan as possible before rounding off with 'Loves Got Me Higher' by the funk gods Seven Grand Housing Authority.
 An incredibly exclusive quality compilation, available to all - the tunes are about as fresh and funky as things get... Forget the 'I can't buy it cause I haven't got the first one' & take it from us; you need this in your life!
