Xtra Bass Week 2006 - 1Xtra
1Xtra today announced its fourth annual Xtra Bass Week, a week of live Drum & Bass broadcasts which run from Monday 13th - Saturday 18th March 2006. This year’s Xtra Bass Week will broadcast 23 hours of live D&B on 1Xtra and will be touching down in six cities across six days with some of the biggest and freshest D&B talent in the UK right now.
 Xtra Bass Week will see 1Xtra's entire Drum & Bass DJ roster: L Double, Flight, Bailey and Sappo, each host their own broadcast from a UK city with the best talent from the D&B scene such as Fabio, Grooverider, Roni Size, Goldie, Pendulum, Clipz, Marcus Intalex, Craggz & Parallel Forces, Jungle Drummer and MC Trip, Heist, Kenny Ken, Radio 1's Crissy Criss, Dynamite MC and MCs Rage, Stamina, Tonn Piper, Verse and more.
The penultimate date on the Friday 17th March will be a 4 hour simulcast with Radio 1 featuring Fabio and Grooverider. The finale on Saturday 18th March will be live from Ashton Court Mansion in Bristol, it will be a massive celebration to close Xtra Bass Week with some superstar talent such as the mercury award winning Roni Size, Dynamite MC and more.
Xtra Bass Week sees 1Xtra broadcast live from the ‘Xtra Bass Bus’ which start from the south coast and travel north up the country across the first five days. 1Xtra will visit Exeter, Nottingham, Norwich, Manchester, Edinburgh and finally Bristol for the finale.
